Our internship opportunity is available each fall and spring semester at Map Literary: A Journal of Contemporary Writing and Art--an online and print magazine published by the English Department at William Paterson University.

Learning activities and intern duties will cover the following:

--electronic publication process, including webpage creation and website archive maintenance;

--submissions management, including evaluation and editing of manuscripts and correspondence with authors;

--promotion/advertising, both traditional and via social media; audience, subscriber, mailing list development and management (regular and electronic);

--traditional print chapbook production (all stages of printing/publishing process);

--grant writing.

Where appropriate, some duties may be related to WPU's Spring Writer's Conference and/or M.F.A. in Creative and Professional Writing program development.
